Norman A. Czerniak, age 81, of Kentwood, MI, passed away on Sunday, December 31, 2023, and went to be with his Lord. Norm loved spending time with his family. He enjoyed bowling, golfing, and University of Michigan sports. His wife of 57 years, Marcia (Knobe) Czerniak, preceded him in death. He will be greatly missed by his children, Christine Czerniak, Lawrence (Lenal) Czerniak; grandchildren, Brittany (Nic) Leopold. Elizabeth (Nathan) Haan, Katherine (Freddy) Toppel; six great-grandchildren; sister, Sharon Turner; brother, Stephen (Linda) Czerniak; sister-in-law, Betty Johnston; and his nephews, nieces, and cousins. The family will greet visitors on Friday, January 5, 2024, from 10 - 11 am at Stroo Funeral Home, 1095 68th St. SE, Grand Rapids, where the funeral service will begin at 11 am, with Fr. Peter Vu, officiating. Interment will be in Pine Hill Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Faith Hospice.
