Lisa L. (Schwerbel) Cripe, age 47, of Wyoming, MI, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, December 27, 2023.  Lisa's passion was being a hairstylist and she loved everything about her job.  She was preceded in death by her father, Steve Schwerbel; and mother-in-law, Marsha Cripe.  Lisa will be dearly missed and lovingly remembered by her husband, James; stepson, Jacob Cripe, mother, Marcia Wiersma; brother, James (Hope) Schwerbel; sister, Judi (Jack) Beeler; nephews, Brandon, Matt, and Adam; Jim's father, James Cripe, Sr., Jim's sisters, and their families; her faithful companion, Allie.  The family will greet relatives and friends on Tuesday, January 2, 2024, prior to the service, from 10 to 11 AM at Stroo Funeral Home.  The funeral will begin at 11 AM, Tuesday, January 2, 2024, at Stroo Funeral Home, 1095 68th St. SE, Grand Rapids, 49508.  Interment will be in Pine Hill Cemetery.  Memorial contributions may be made to West Michigan Humane Society.
