Peggy Lou (Force) Leys, age 83, of Kentwood, MI was called to her heavenly home on Tuesday, November 14, 2023.  Peggy enjoyed sewing, gardening, crafting, and preparing meals for her family.  She was an Awana teacher and loved bringing children from her neighborhood with her to the club.  Peggy was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Sr.; son, Robert "Jaime" Jr.; parents, Al and Margaret Force.  Lovingly remembering Peggy are her children, Terri (Richard) Bonzheim, Sue (Ray) Dickson, Jason (Jennifer) Leys; 10 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; six brothers and two sisters, Tom (Lavina) Force, Terry (Patty) Force, Sherry Covington, Mary (Larry) Tindle, Rodney (Sharon) Force, Rick (Karen) Force, Ron (Karen) Force, Kerry (Terri) Force; many nieces and nephews. The family will greet relatives and friends prior to the funeral service on Saturday, November 25, from 11 am to 12 pm at Stroo Funeral Home.  The funeral service will begin at 12 noon, Saturday, November 25, at Stroo Funeral Home, 1095 68th St. SE, Grand Rapids, MI 49508.  Pastor Pat Binish will officiate.  Interment will be in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens.  Memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Association.
