Marilyn L. Kerner, age 84, of Kentwood, MI, went to be with her Lord on Saturday, March 21, 2026. Marilyn retired from Keeler Brass after 24 years of service. She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother, who showed her love for others by helping those in need. Marilyn was preceded in death by her parents, Eugene and Margaret Koon, and her brother, Ken Koon. She will be lovingly remembered by her husband, Bob; children, Laura (Dave) Knoll, Laura (Rick) Kirvan, Ronald (Myra) Kerner, Patrick (Jodi) Kerner; twelve grandchildren, eight great grandchildren; sisters, Jane Arnold, Jackie (Nels) Speck; brothers, Tom (Joyce) Koon, Earl (Joyce) Koon; and several nieces and nephews. The family will greet relatives and friends on Saturday, May 2, from 10:30 a.m. to 12:00 noon, at Stroo Funeral Home, 1095 68th St. SE, where a memorial service celebrating Marilyn's life will begin at 12 noon, officiated by her brother, Pastor Tom Koon.
