Edward Fredericksen, Jr., age 90, of Wyoming, MI entered his heavenly home on Saturday, February 21, 2026.  Ed proudly served in the Army and went on to work at General Motors for 44 years.  He was a loving family man and was a huge fan of his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.  Ed enjoyed his daily breakfast gatherings with his friends and his times at Marge's Donuts.  He is preceded in death by his loving wife of 56 years, Carol; and his sisters, Margaret Ensink, and Ruth Newhouse.  Ed is survived by his wife of 4 years, Nancy Woltjer; his daughters and their husbands, Janice and Dean Sullivan, Jodi and Jodie Baker; his grandchildren and great-grandchildren, Gina and Rich Foerster (Ava, Hannah, Selah), Angie and Andy Rienstra (Cameron, Emma, Kylee), Tina and Kevin Garvin (Makayla, Cohen), Jessica and Brent Huddleston (Elijah, Madeline, Isaac, Abigail), Jordan and Nicole Baker (Aria, Jett, Cora), Jacklyn and Joey VanderBand (Aubrie, Carson, Weston).  Visitation will be held prior to the service on Thursday, February 26, from 10 - 11 AM at Stroo Funeral Home, 1095 68th St. SE, Grand Rapids, 49508, where the funeral service will begin at 11 AM.  Pastor Larry French will officiate.  Interment will be in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens.  Memorial contributions in memory of Ed may be made to Grand Rapids First Next Gen.
