Barbara J. Kloosterman, age 95, of Grand Rapids, MI was called to her eternal home on Saturday, November 1, 2025.  Barb was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother.  She loved the Lord and was a faithful part of His church throughout her life.  Barb was preceded in death by her husband, Bernard; daughter, Jean; and brothers, Merlin, Donald, and Wesley Visser.  She will be dearly missed by her children, Betty Houtman (Ron), John Kloosterman (Linda), Paul Kloosterman (Tricia), Mark Kloosterman (Lynn); 11 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; sister-in-law, Joyce DeLange (Walt); many nieces and nephews.  Visitation will be held at Stroo Funeral Home, 1095 68th St. SE, Grand Rapids, Thursday, November 6, from 6 to 8 PM.  The funeral service will be held at Dutton United Reformed Church, 6950 Hanna Lake Ave. SE, Caledonia, Friday, November 7, at 11 AM with a visitation prior to the service from 10 - 10:45 AM.  Rev. Talman Wagenmaker will officiate.  The service will be live-streamed on the church website: www.duttonurc.org. Private interment will be in Oak Grove Cemetery.  Memorial contributions in memory of Barb may be made to the Dutton URC Mission Fund.
