Ardith J. Roodvoets, age 93, of Grand Rapids, MI went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Sunday, October 19, 2025.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Fred and daughter, Susan DeVries.  Ardith will be dearly missed and lovingly remembered by her children, Rick (Judy) Roodvoets, Steve Roodvoets, Chuck (Ellen) Roodvoets, Rachael Roodvoets, Bob (Danielle) Roodvoets; son-in-law, Curt DeVries; many beloved grandchildren and great-grandchildren; sister, Jane (Gord) Zylstra; brother, James (Jane) TerHorst; sister-in-law, Marge TerHorst; many nieces and nephews.  Visitation will be held on Friday, October 24, from 1:00 - 2:00 PM at Stroo Funeral Home, 1095 68th St. SE, Grand Rapids, 49508, where the funeral service will begin at 2:00 PM.  Rev. Talman Wagenmaker will officiate.  The family invites you for a time of fellowship and refreshments in the Stroo Community Room immediately following the service.  Private interment will be in Fort Custer National Cemetery.  The family expresses sincere thanks to the staff at Faith Hospice for the loving and attentive care shown to Ardith and her family.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Faith Hospice at Trillium Woods.
