| Terry L. Hanson, fondly known as "Poppy", passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, July 19, 2025, at the age of 77. He enjoyed hunting, WWE wrestling, and NASCAR, but he loved his family above all. He was preceded in death by his parents, and his brothers, Don Hanson and Dan Hanson. Poppy will be dearly missed by his children, Tory and Kris Cole, Chad and Paula Hanson; his grandchildren and great grandchildren, Taylor Cole (Sophie), Logan Cole, Sidney Cole, Parker Cole, Ashley and Andrew Cobb (Grayson, Emmy), Chad Hanson, Jr., Helena and Zach Lee (Carson); his brother, Richard and Judy Hanson; and his nieces and nephews. Visitation with the family will be held on Thursday, July 24, from 6 - 8 PM at Stroo Funeral Home, 1095 68th Street SE, Grand Rapids. Memorial contributions may be made to the family to assist with expenses. |
