Fred Douglas (Doug) Bynum, age 80, of Grand Rapids, MI passed away peacefully on Friday, June 6, 2025.  Doug proudly served in the U.S. Coast Guard and had a strong faith in God.  He was preceded in death by his wife, Betty; and brother, Charles.  Doug is survived by his daughter, Tricia; grandson, Henry; brother and sister, John Bynum, Paulette (Scott) Pittman; sister-in-law, Lynn (Randy) Berry; many nieces and nephews.  The family is not planning any formal ceremony services.  Interment will be in Fort Custer National Cemetery.
