Ruth Louise VanSledright, age 94, of Spring, Texas, formerly of Kentwood, MI, became absent from the body and present with her Lord and Savior on Saturday, April 5, 2025. She was preceded in death by her husband, Richard. Ruth will be lovingly remembered by her children, Carol (Gary) Helander, Mariellen Scott, Ruth Ann (Kurt) Dawdy, Lynne Shepherd; grandchildren, Aaron Scott, Dana Wayward, Jeremy Scott, Rachel Bylsma, Jennifer Hampton, Susie Walton, Jonathan Helander, Jason Helander, Matthew Shepherd, Leah Shomsky; many great grandchildren, three great-great grandchildren; sister, Lorna (Bill) Snodgrass, sisters-in-law, Ardith VanSledright and Lorraine VanSledright.  A private family service will be held. Interment will be in Pine Hill Cemetery.
