Janet E. Venema, age 84, of Cutlerville, ran into the arms of Jesus on Saturday, March 22, 2025, and is now in her heavenly home.  Many will remember Janet's love for knitting - everywhere and all the time. She donated 1,000's of mittens to the Santa Claus girls over the years. She also had a love for seniors and volunteered at Holland Home for 27 years, leading hymn sings, calling bingo, crafting, hosting picnics at her home, baking classes, cooking special meals and over all just blessing folks with her humor and love. Janet grew up on a fruit farm in Ganges Twp. and always had an affinity for nature and gardening. Any excuse to make a trip to the family farm was good enough for her.  She became known for her pies and was famous for her cinnamon rolls. Janet will be dearly missed and remembered by her children, Norm Venema, Jon (Kim) Venema, Nancy Venema; grandchildren, Stephanie (Jimmy), Sarah (Trevor), Samantha (Steve), Travis (Hannah), Haley, Jeremy (Kelly), Aaron (Becky), Tanneke (Keith), Christine (Josh), Molly (Christopher); great grandchildren, Keirston (Avery), Ashley, Kamie, Malcolm, Madison, Mackenzie, Trinity, Naveah, Mason, Kenzi, JJ, Nori, Kalee, Logan, Stephen, Reese; sisters, Karen (Glen) Phelps and Pat Poole; brother-in-law, John (Patsy) Venema; many nieces and nephews.  The family will greet visitors on Tuesday, March 25, from 2 - 4 and 6 - 8 pm at Stroo Funeral, 1095 68th St. SE.  A celebration of life service will be held on Wednesday, March 26, at 11 am at Stroo Funeral Home, with Rev.
