​Donald J. "Don" Marsman, age 85, of Byron Center, went home to be with his Lord on Tuesday, March 4, 2025. He was preceded in death by his wife, Trudy. Don will be lovingly remembered by his children, Donald L. Marsman, Brenda (Jon) Jansma, Bryan (Angie) Marsman; grandchildren, Josh (Sara D.) Marsman, Jenna (Doug) Smith, Nicole (Shawn) Stouten, Samantha (Caleb) Sleeman, Tana Jansma, Madison Marsman; great grandchildren, Finn Marsman, Maddox and Jocelyn Smith, Liam and Breck Stouten, with baby Sleeman arriving soon; brother, Maynard Marsman; sister, Dianne Westra; sister-in-law, Elaine Marsman; and many nieces and nephews. The family will greet visitors on Saturday, March 8, from 2 - 5 pm at Stroo Funeral Home; and Sunday, March 9, from 3 - 3:45 pm at Rush Creek Bible Church, 2334 76th St. SW, Byron Center, where the funeral service will begin at 4 pm. Pastor Cameron Townley will officiate. Interment will be in Winchester Cemetery. Memorial contributions in memory of Don may be made to Rush Creek Bible Church.
