Deborah Elaine Koster, age 67, of Kentwood, MI, went to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ on Sunday, February 9, 2025. Deborah was a devoted and loving wife, mother, and grandmother. She enjoyed reading, listening to the hymns and the Gaither Vocal Band. She was preceded in death by her sister, Beverly Sutter; and stepson, Michael Douglas Koster; brother-in-law, Ken Koster.  Deb will be lovingly remembered by her husband of 35 years, Doug; children, Krista Koster, Jody Lynn (Scott) Arp, Kathy Jo (Jay) Faulkner; grandchildren, Ellaina  Marie, Micheala Jo, Brea Grace; sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, Ruth (Dan) Fredricks, Patricia (Jim) Bass, Kim Koster, Steve (Marian) Koster, Beth (Mike) DeBoer; and many nieces and nephews. The family will greet visitors on Friday, February 14, from 2 - 4 and 6 - 8 pm at Stroo Funeral Home, 1095 68th St. SE; and on Saturday, February 15, prior to the funeral service from 10 - 11 am, at New Community Church, 2340 Dean Lake Ave. NE, where the funeral service will begin at 11 am. Rev. Lew VanderMeer will officiate.  Memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association.
