Cemetery: Pine Hill

Russell Jay Van Dommelen, age 89, of Grand Rapids, MI, passed away on Saturday, January 18, 2025. Russ worked his entire career as a printer at the Grand Rapids Press. He was preceded in death by his wife, Ethel; his son, Dan Van Dommelen; and his parents, Martin and Nellie (Bishop) Van Dommelen. Russ will be lovingly remembered by his daughters, Karen (Brian) Obits of Spring Lake, MI, and Kerri (Roger) De Mann of Kentwood, MI; 10 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.  A visitation will be held on Wednesday, January 29, from 11am to 12 noon at Stroo Funeral Home, followed by the funeral service at 12 noon, with Rev. Martin Benckhuysen officiating. Interment will be in Pine Hill Cemetery.
