Charleen Ann Roosien, age 88, of Grand Rapids, MI was called to her heavenly home on Tuesday, December 31, 2024.  Charleen loved spending time with her family.  She enjoyed making floral arrangements and helping her sister and brother-in-law show their Belgian horses.  Charleen was preceded in death by her husband, LaVerne; parents, Berson and Theora Bowen; and sister, Beryl Dunton.  She will be deeply missed by her children, William (Jennifer) Roosien, Janet Foran, Patricia (Pete) Collier, Cheryl Roosien, Dawn Timmer, Richard (Staci) Roosien; 14 grandchildren; many great-grandchildren; brother, Dan (Judith) Bowen; brother-in-law, Robert Dunton; several nieces and nephews.  The funeral service will be held at 11 AM on Tuesday, January 7, 2025, at Stroo Funeral Home, 1095 68th St. SE, Grand Rapids, 49508, with a one-hour visitation prior to the service from 10 - 11 AM.  Rev. Bruce Kuiper will officiate.  Interment will be in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens.
