Fredrick L. Everett, age 79, of Caledonia, entered into the arms of Jesus on Thursday, December 26, 2024. Fred deeply loved his Lord and his family. He proudly served his country in the U.S. Army. Fred will be deeply missed by his wife of 57 years Ruth (Woolpert), children, Fredrick (Barbara) Everett, Juli (Daniel) Westenburg, Timothy (Mellissa) Everett; grandchildren, Aidan Everett (Abbey), Logan Everett, Nathan (Sarah) Westenburg, Ryan Westenburg, Jordan Westenburg (Mya), Nolan Westenburg (Gracie), MacKenzie Everett, Colin Everett; great grandchildren, Alexander, Zoe, and Matthew Westenburg; brother, Bill (Judy) Everett; sister, Ruth Witzki; brothers-in-law, Bill Woolpert, James Dingman; many nieces and nephews. The family will greet visitors on Monday, December 30, from 2 - 2:45 pm at Stroo Funeral Home, 1095 68th St. SE, where the funeral service will begin at 3 pm. Rev. Cameron Townley will officiate. Interment will be in Blain Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions in memory of Fred may be made to Rush Creek Bible Church or Faith Hospice.
