Marjorie Joyce (DeWaard) Koster, age 92, entered into the arms of Jesus on Tuesday, October 22, 2024. Margie was born in Grand Rapids, Michigan where she lived her whole life. She was blessed with a long life full of the things she loved including knitting, sewing, reading, gardening, and going on walks. She took pride in being a devoted mother to three beautiful daughters and “Gubby” to her six grandchildren who she loved unconditionally.  Above all, she was a woman of  steadfast faith who trusted her Lord in every situation.  Marjorie was preceded in death by her husband, Charles; son-in-law, Jack Gezon; four sisters; one brother; and grandson, Reece Bouwma, all of whom she is overjoyed to be reunited with in Heaven. She is lovingly remembered by her daughters, Kathy Gezon, Kristen (Richard) Bouwma, and Heidi (Vern) Voetberg; her grandchildren, Abi Bouwma, K.C. (Levi) Scholten, Charli (Kolin) Lambert, Lexi Gezon, Caleb (Maleah) Voetberg, Lili Bouwma; great-granddaughter, Tegan; and many nieces and nephews.  A private family service will be held, with interment at Rest Lawn Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Grand Rapids Christian Schools, South Christian High School, or Meals on Wheels Western Michigan.
