Rob Buist, age 63, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, October 17, 2024. He was preceded in death by his mother, Joanne Buist; and his brother, Rick Buist. Rob will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 37 years, Penny; his daughter, Laura Buist; his son, Scott (Courtney) Buist; his father, Harold Buist; and his brothers, Randy (Sue) Buist, Terry (Terri) Buist.
Rob was a devoted husband and father. He was a passionate car enthusiast. Known for his unwavering support, he was always there when anyone needed him. Rob was the strongest man you'd ever meet and always put others before himself.
A true craftsman, Rob found joy in working on cars and always had multiple projects in the garage that captured his attention. His dedication to his work was unmatched, both in his professional life and at home.
Though he preferred the solace of his own company, those close to him knew the depths of his loyalty and the warmth of his heart. He will be deeply missed!
