Robert "Bob" Allan Berkenpas Sr., age 73, of Muskegon, MI, passed away peacefully with his family by his side on Tuesday, August 13, 2024.  He was preceded in death by his wife of 47 years, Debra Jo.  Lovingly remembering Bob is his children, Beccie (Pat) Alexander, Rob Jr. (Jennifer) Berkenpas; grandchildren, Ryan (Kelsey) Alexander, Sean Alexander, Hunter Alexander, Devin Berkenpas, Ben Giovannetti, Jacob Giovannetti, Nina Giovannetti; great grandchild, Ryder Berkenpas; sisters, Judy Kay Berkenpas, Kathy Russo, Amy (Jerry) Dunn; brothers-in-law, Kerry Andrews Marshall (Ruth) Van Stee; sister-in-law, Judy Van Haitsma; several nieces and nephews; many great nieces and great nephews.   The funeral service will be held at 11:30 AM on Saturday, August 17, with a visitation prior to the service from 10 to 11:30 AM, at Stroo Funeral Home, 1095 68th St. SE, Grand Rapids, 49508.  Pastor Tom Weeden will officiate.  Interment will be in Winchester Cemetery.
