Brett Guikema, age 58, of Kentwood went to be with his Savior on Wednesday, July 3, 2024. In his younger days, Brett was into body building and anything with engines, the faster the better. Brett enjoyed working on and rebuilding motors in his muscle cars, boat, dirt bikes, and snowmobiles. He also worked in the tool and die industry for many years. Brett had a great sense of humor and loved to have fun. He had a big heart and was never shy to show that love to his friends and family. Brett will be lovingly remembered by his children, Trisha (Christopher) Olree; Darby Guikema; his parents, Ed and Carole Guikema; sister, Jodi (Randy) Joldersma, and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his sister, Jill Toth. A private family service has taken place and burial will be in Pine Hill Cemetery.
