Jessie, thank you for your donation to Great Lakes Weimaraner Rescue in memory of Corey. Your donation will help Corey's beloved breed with Vaccination, flea & tick preventative, heartworm test. One of Corey's Weimaraners Harley Jean was a member of a litter that GLWR rescued and so one of my own Weimaraners Trent aka Bane was Harley's littermate. I feel like a member of his extended family and send my condolences to everyone who knew and loved Corey. I know that my Weimaraner Trent met him at the Rainbow Bridge and thanked him for all the love he showed his sister and all his other Weimaraners over the years. Thank you for your donations in his memory.

So sorry about your lose, remember we pray as one with hope when we shall be reunite together at the sounding of the last Trump. And our resurrected bodies shall join our soul in heaven. For God a thousand days is like one year. To be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord.

Losing Corey, it feels like I lost part of my life. Corey and I were cousins, our mothers being sisters. Growing up, we were always around eachother, always hanging out, always getting up to shenanigans. He felt like a brother to me, he was my protector. Once we grew to adults, we didn't see eachother much, mainly due to just going in different paths in life, but he was still always there for me, always loved me, always cared about me, always protected me, until the very end. While I am absolutely full of regret for not seeing him as much as I should have, I am also full of the unconditional love he left in my life. He was my best friend, since day one, and I know his spirit will still be with me, with all of us. I love you so much Corey

I just found out my dear friend passed away. My heart is broken, I have not known Corey very long but he made a big difference in my life the short time we knew each other. The first time we talked on the phone in March I won’t forget how comfortable I feIt felt like I knew him a long time. I enjoyed hearing how creative he was with race car engines and his accomplishments . He has a heart of gold for always being there for me and comforting. He is so strong for fighting his autoimmune disease. I tried to support him the best I could and told him I was proud of him and stay strong. He loved the smell of candles and showed me his cabinet full of them. He gave me 2 candles and when I light them I will think about the good times we had. I would give anything to spend another day with him. My heart goes out to his wonderful family and friends. I know how much he loves every single one of you.
I miss you Corey Johnson and I will always love you!
