Patricia Anne Baker, age 91, of Bonita Springs, Florida, went home to be with her Lord on February 5, 2024, at Hope Hospice after a fall and hip surgery at NCH.  After much pain and failure of trying rehab for four weeks, she just wanted to be with Jesus. Patricia was escorted into Heaven with no pain or wheelchair.  Patricia was born in Grand Rapids, Michigan on November 22, 1932, to Donald and Theresa Zuller. She attended Union High School, married, and raised her four children. Pat married once again in 1990, to fellow church member, Jon E. Baker.  Pat and Jon moved to Bonita Springs, Florida in 2003, where she helped run the painting business. A talented artist in painting and crafts, she shared her beautiful creations with family and friends, of which many of these cherished items are destined to be family heirlooms. She also enjoyed gardening and furniture decorating, and the Red Hat Ladies Group.  Patricia was a member of the River of Life Church where all loved her. She was passionate about her faith and shared her love of God.  She was an inspiration to all.  Patricia loved the power of Psalm 91, and her pastor likened her to an angel.  She loved to watch all the Christian TV programs.  Patricia was a kind, loving, gentle person who loved her family very much. She is survived by her husband, Jon E. Baker of 33 years; her children, Ron Heeren (Denise), Janna Mulder (Joe), David Heeren (Kathy), Lori Scribner; and grandchildren, Seth, Shaun, Jared, Joshua, Joe, Darcie, Desi, Danny, Amanda, Kaitlen, and Meagan. Pat was loved dearly by her stepchildren, Scott Baker (Patty), Troy Baker (Stephanie), Alisha Baker, Anjela Straight; her step-grandchildren, Ashten, Travis, Josh, Nick, Dennis, Robin, Autumn, and Austin. Patricia is also survived by her sisters, Laura Vaught (Loy), Sally McIntyre (Rob); and sister-in-law Jeannie Knights (Bill). The funeral will be held on Saturday, February 17, at 11:00 am at the Rosedale Memorial Park Chapel, 50 Lake Michigan Drive NW, Grand Rapids, Michigan, 49543. A memorial service at her church, River of Life AG, Estero, Florida, is planned for a later date.
