Keith J. Boorsma, age 91, of Byron Center, went home to be with his Lord and Savior on Monday, October 23, 2023. Keith proudly served in the U.S. Navy. A good left-handed handyman, he enjoyed keeping his lawn groomed and maintained, and was a great sign painter and artist. Keith loved spending time up north with his family and will be greatly missed by his wife of 70 years, Beverly Joan (Bishop) Boorsma; children, Bradford Boorsma, Vicki and Rick Nausieda, Bonnie Boorsma, Brian Boorsma, Kelley and Todd Rose, 10 grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, George and Esther, and sister, Pat Rich.  Visitation will be held on Friday, October 27, from 12 noon to 1 pm at Stroo Funeral Home, 1095 68th St. SE, where the funeral service will begin at 1 pm. Interment will be in Rosedale Memorial Park. Contributions in memory of Keith may be made to Bethel Lutheran Church or Emmanuel Hospice.
