Kenneth Paul Ensing, age 93, went peacefully to be with his Lord and Savior on Sunday, September 24, 2023. He will be lovingly remembered and dearly missed by his wife of 56 years, Ann; his daughter and son-in-law, Kimberly and John Chui; his beloved dog, Yoda. Ken was preceded in death by his parents, Paul and Ada Ensing, sister, Norma (Ensing) Kuiper; brother and sister-in-law, Marlin and Shirley Ensing, brother-in-law, Bert Kuiper, and his father-in-law and mother-in-law, Albert and Louisa Kuiper. He is survived by his sisters and brother, Gloria Hulst, Dolores Toering and Rick Volkom, Calvin and Sherri Ensing; his brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, John and Joyce Kuiper, Thelma Vandergon and Vern Anderson, Willis Kuiper, Sadie Kuiper, JoAnn and Harold Miersma, Albertha Kuiper, Lori Vellenga and her daughter, Vicki Solomon; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and friends. The family will greet visitors on Saturday, September 30, from 1:30 - 3:00 PM at Stroo Funeral Home, where a memorial service will follow at 3:00 PM. Rev. Bruce R. Kuiper will officiate. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Faith Hospice (faithhospicecare.com) or Grace Legacy Builders (gracelegacybuilders.org). Donation envelopes will be available at the service.
