Dorothy M. "Dort" Uiterdyk (Post), age 87, of Grand Rapids, MI, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Saturday, August 5, 2023. Dort worked for Christian Schools International for 40 years, and enjoyed wintering in Arizona. She was preceded in death by her parents, Julius and Celia Post; siblings, Marion and Arnold Noorman, Joyce and Raymond Steenwyk, and Alvin Post. She will be lovingly remembered by her sister-in-law, Jeanne Post; and many close nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. The family will greet visitors on Wednesday, August 9, from 4 - 5 pm at Stroo Funeral Home, where the funeral service will begin at 5 pm. Pastor Les Wiseman will officiate. Interment will be in Dutton Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to a Christian school of your choice.
