Charles Gregory Wilder, Sr. age 78, of Lake City formerly of Wyoming, was called to his heavenly home on Friday, August 4, 2023. He was drafted into the US Army in 1965 and served until 1967.  Chuck worked in the Public Works Dept. for the City of Wyoming for 31 years. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, golfing, playing softball, and spending time with his family.  Chuck was a faithful member of the church of Jesus Christ of latter day Saints.  His parents, Gerald and Donna; and brother, William Wilder; preceded him in death.  He will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 58 years, Mary (Anderson); children, Charles (Jill) Wilder, Jr., Rebecca (Wilmer) Flores; granddaughter, Makenzie Wilder; brother and sisters, Knute (Dawn) Wilder, Geraldine Gulembo, Frances (Terry) Gulembo; and many nieces and nephews. The family will greet visitors on Tuesday, August 8, from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 pm at the Stroo Funeral Home,  Funeral Services will be held 2:00 PM Wednesday, August 9, 2023, at the Stroo Funeral Home, 1095 68th Street, SE, Grand Rapids, MI; with Pastor Andrew Anderson, officiating.  Interment will be in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens.
