Jessie (Rozeboom) VerStrate, of Dutton, MI, went to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Thursday, May 4, 2023. She is preceded in death by her husbands, Alvin Rozeboom and Robert VerStrate. She will be lovingly remembered by her children Calvin (Beth) Rozeboom; Annette (Randy) Jordan; Kenneth (Char) Rozeboom; 10 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; two step-children, many step-grandchildren and great-grandchildren; Her sisters, Gertrude VanderKolk; Ruth (Jim) Irish; Marylou (Mark) Thompson; and many, many, nieces and nephews. The family will greet visitors on Wednesday, May 10, from 7 to 9 pm at Stroo Funeral Home, 1095 68^th St. SE, Grand Rapids, MI, 49508; and on Thursday, May 11, from 10 to 11 am at the church. Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM Thursday, May 11, 2023, at Good News Baptist Church, 6830 Eastern Ave. SE, Grand Rapids, MI 49508, with Pastor Brian Cederquist officiating. Interment will be at Rest Lawn Memorial Park. Contributions may be made to Good News Baptist Church.
