Jack M. Gezon, age 66, went to be with his Lord and Savior early April 1st, 2023, after a long battle with cancer. Jack was born in Grand Rapids, Michigan and graduated from Grand Rapids Christian High School where he played football. He also attended Calvin College. When not selling office furniture, Jack enjoyed spending time in Traverse City, Michigan. You could find him on a golf course or on his boat on sunny days, or at the casino when the weather was poor. Jack leaves behind his wife of 42 years, Kathy; daughter, Lexi; father, Mel Gezon; mother-in-law, Marge Koster; sister, Julie (Mike) Barendse; sisters-in-law, Kris (Ric) Bouwma, and Heidi (Vern) Voetberg. He also leaves behind six nieces and one nephew. Visitation will be held at Stroo Funeral Home on Thursday, April 13, from 6 to 8 PM.  The service will be at Brookside Christian Reformed Church, 3600 Kalamazoo Ave SE, Grand Rapids, 49508, on Friday, April 14, at 6:00 PM with Rev. Paul DeVries officiating.  Interment will be in Rest Lawn Memorial Park.  The family would like to especially thank the doctors and nurses at Butterworth Hospital for the wonderful care Jack received throughout his battle with cancer. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
