Joan Mae Williams (Wilcome), aged 90, of Kentwood, went to be with the Lord peacefully on Tuesday, March 21, 2023. She was preceded in death by her husband, James Patrick Williams; parents, Thomas and Mae Wilcome (Alvene); brothers, Thomas, David, and Frederick Wilcome; son, Michael James Williams; and grandson, Michael Thomas Williams. Joan will be missed by her children, Pat and MaryAnn (Aaron and Stephanie), Tom and Karen (Scott), Steve and Diane (Darci and Ava); daughter-in-law, Sheryl Williams (Jamie and Kara); brother, Jim and Barb Wilcome; along with her beloved great-grandchildren. Joan appreciated the many friendships she created throughout the years. The family will greet friends and relatives on Sunday, March 26, from 2 - 5 pm at Stroo Funeral Home, 1095 68th St. SE. Interment will be in Pine Hill Cemetery.
