Lucille Mae Huisman, age 93, of Grand Rapids, MI, went home to be with her Lord on Tuesday, February 28, 2023, following a battle with pancreatic cancer.  Lucille was born in 1929, in Grand Rapids, MI to parents, Jacob and Tina VanDam.  She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 69 years, John Huisman.  Lucille will be lovingly remembered by her four children, Steve (Jan) Huisman, Pam (Rick, deceased) Mulder, Marcia (Daryl) Andringa, and Carl (Lisa) Huisman; 10 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; brother, Ray (Judy) VanDam; as well as many nieces and nephews.  Lucille was a longtime member of Kelloggsville Christian Reformed Church.  She worked a number of years for JA White as an administrative assistant.  She enjoyed spending time with family and friends.  Lucille was loved by everyone and will be greatly missed.  Funeral services will be held at Stroo Funeral Home, 1095 68th St. SE, Grand Rapids, 49508, on Saturday, March 4, 2023, at 11 AM, with visitation one hour before the service from 10 AM to 11 AM.  Rev.
