Dennis L. Rackett, age 72, of Byron Center, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, December 25, 2022. ​Dennis retired from Knoll after 41 years of service. He enjoyed snow skiing, skiing all over the world, and was a member of the Greater Grand Rapids Ski Club. He also liked watching all sports. His parents, Alton and Rita Rackett, and a brother, Cary W. Rackett, preceded him in death. Surviving are his sister-in-law, Marilyn Rackett; nephew, Cary A. Rackett; and many cousins. The family will greet visitors on Thursday, December 29, from 11 am to 1 pm at Stroo Funeral Home, 1095 68th St. SE, Grand Rapids, MI 49508. There will be a committal service held after visitation at 1:20 pm at Blain Cemetery.
