Carilyn J. Bouma, age 86, of Grand Rapids, MI, went to be with her Lord on Wednesday, December 21, 2022. Carilyn enjoyed crocheting, knitting, and loved singing in the church choir. She was preceded in death by her husband, Auke Jay Bouma.  Lovingly remembering Carilyn are her children, Thomas A. Bouma, Laurie Warfield; grandchildren, Jennifer, Lisa, Holly, Alexandria, Ralph, Mia; nine great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; sisters and brothers, Jane Mingerink, Bermayne Hilbrand, Dale (Vera) Miedema; sister-in-law, Karen Savino.  The family will greet relatives and friends on Tuesday, December 27, 2022, from 10 to 11 AM, at Cutlerville East Christian Reformed Church, 501 68^th St. SE, Grand Rapids, 49508; where her funeral will begin at 11:00 AM, with Rev. James Jones officiating.  Interment will be in Blain Cemetery.  Memorial contributions may be made to Holland Home Raybrook Manor.
