Connie Hooton, age 76, of Alto, MI, passed away peacefully on October 25, 2021, after extending her love to her family and friends.  Connie was born on January 1, 1945, to Charles and Georgia Cottingham in Kokomo, IN.  She is a long time "Betty Boop" collector and an avid classic car enthusiast.  Connie is lovingly remembered by her husband, Arnold "Arny" Hooton; children, Lisa (Brett) Mello, Todd Hooton; grandchildren, Anthony Ham, Kaili Mello, Camron Hooton, Aiden Hooton, Brady Hooton; sisters, MaryBeth Shelby, Linda Slabaugh; brother, Steve (Deanna) Cottingham; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Norma Carlson, Myles (Beverly) Hooton, Richard (Marlene) Hooton; many nieces and nephews.  A graveside memorial will be held at a later date at the Olive Chapel Cemetery in New Carlisle, IN.  Memorial contributions may be made to the Wounded Warrier Project, which was near and dear to Connie's heart.
