Following the celebration gathering, the family invites you to meet them at The Meanwhile Bar

1005 Wealthy St. SE, Grand Rapids, MI 49506

On Monday, September 6, 2021, our dear Holly "Hunni" Coons, age 46, of Grand Rapids, lost her fight with cancer, and is now resting in the arms of her parents, Sally and John Gielda. She is survived by her husband, Forrest Coons; daughter, Adeline Gielda-Coons; sisters, Jacqueline Achenbach, Heather Gielda; brother, Ken Gielda; and many other family and friends. For those of us who knew Holly (Holly from Hollywood) she was One of a Kind! Holly had an infectious laugh, beautiful smile and a sassiness that we just loved about her. She had a flare for color and style, whether in her hair, nails, or tattoos, which were as bright and beautiful as she was. So at this time we don't say goodbye - but Rest my dear Holly until next time: May you know how much you were loved and the many lives you have touched. Love Always and Forever. A celebration of life gathering for Holly will be held on Saturday, September 18 from 3 - 8 pm at the Knights of Columbus Hall, 5830 Clyde Park Ave., SE; Wyoming, MI 49509. Following the celebration gathering the family will be meeting at The Meanwhile Bar, 1005 Wealthy St., SE; Grand Rapids, MI 49506.
