Albert "Al" E. McGuire, age 84, of Kentwood, was called to his heavenly home on Sunday, March 28, 2021.  He was preceded in death by his son, Secil McGuire.  Al is survived by his wife of 49 years, Rosemary; sons, Chuck (Jan) Cole, Jerry Toothman; grandchildren, Brian (Miranda) Groth, David (Cassie) Cole, Jason Cole, Brad (Ashley) Groth, Sydney (Kyle) Klemeks, James (Lexy) Cole, Ashleigh Toothman, Aubrie Toothman; 13 great grandchildren; brother, Billy McGuire; sisters, Dorothy Watson, Doris (Wayne) Brown, Glenda Busby; many nieces and nephews.  Al enjoyed fishing, playing the lottery and helping others.  He enjoyed working at American Seating, where after 38 years he retired.  A memorial will be held on Saturday, April 17, at 11:00 AM at Byron Center Baptist Church, 7343 Byron Center Ave SW, Byron Center, MI 49315 with Pastor John Russell officiating.
