Donald Leroy Estell, age 86, of Byron Center, went to be with his Lord and Savior, on Monday, March 15, 2021.  Donald proudly served in the U.S. Army.  He loved spending time with his family, flying remote controlled airplanes and riding his TerraTrike bike.  He was preceded in death by his parents, Laurin and Connie Estelle; brother, Ken Estelle; sister, Joan Dykstra; brother-in-law, Wayne De Haan.  Donald is survived by his wife, of 65 years, Ardis Estell; children, Cheryl (Randy) VanDyken, Cindy (Steve) Katerberg, Susan (Kurt) Wassink; grandchildren, Marc (Ashley) VanDyken, Eric VanDyken, Kristina Katerberg, Kyle Wassink, Jenna Wassink, Ryan (Lauren) Wassink; three great grandsons, Liam, Paxton, Weston; sisters, Evie DeHaan, Barbara (Bob) Miedema; sisters-in-law, Donna Estelle, Beverly Ophoff; many special nieces and nephews.  The family will greet visitors on Wednesday, March 31 from 6-8 pm and Thursday, April 1 from 10 -11 am at Cutlerville East Christian Reformed Church, 501 - 68th St. SE, where a memorial service will be held at the church starting at 11 am with Rev. Ed Visser officiating.  Private interment services will take place at Kent Memorial Gardens.  Contributions in memory of Don may be made to The Esther School in Zambia, Africa or Feeding America West Michigan.
