Our beloved mother, grandmother and friend, Renee Day passed away unexpectedly and peacefully on Saturday, June 29,2024.  We’re only to assume God called her home as he was ready for her delicious home cooked meals. Renee was a beloved and cherished Mother and Grandmother (Nana).  She loved her children and grandchildren fiercely. Renee was an ovarian cancer survivor, strong, resilient, loyal, funny and loving. Her passion was cooking and decorating, and she was the best at both.  She was preceded in death by her mother, Cathryn Myers; her father, Graham Myers; her beloved brother and best friend, Troy Myers; and her brother, Emerson Myers.  She is survived by her daughters, Tara Detloff (Dan), Amber Day (Randy); her grandchildren, Katelyn Sparkman, Tyler Day-Sobczak (Jenn), Veronica Wagner, Cayden Alexander, Olivia Alexander; and her beloved cats, Taj and Sushi.  There will be a celebration of life determined at a future date.  In memory of Renee please make donations to the American Cancer Society.
