Steven Benedict, age 36, of Grand Rapids, MI, passed away unexpectedly.  Steven was preceded in death by his father, Timothy Benedict; grandparents, Reg and Mary Jo Robey; and aunt, Pam Rumbergs.  He will be lovingly remembered by his mom, Judy (Bud) Blackston, brothers, Devin Blackston, Tyler Blackston, Chad Benedict; sister, Megan Benedict; grandfather, David Benedict; grandmother, Rita Bates; many other family and friends.  He loved World of Warcraft, Michigan football, and fishing.  In accordance with his wishes, cremation has taken place.  A memorial service will be held on Saturday, September 30, at 11:30 AM at St. John Vianney Catholic Church, 4101 Clyde Park SW, Wyoming, MI, 49509, with a luncheon to follow.  Memorial contributions in honor of Steven may be made to Stroo Funeral Home to help the family with expenses, 1095 - 68th St. SE, Grand Rapids, MI, 49508 or Go Fund Me link - https://www.gofundme.com/f/steve-benedict?utm_campaign=p_lico+share-sheet-first-launch&utm_medium=social&utm_source=messenger
