Donner W. Richter, age 76, of Alto, MI, went to be with his Lord on Wednesday, September 6, 2023, after a long battle with cancer. Donner proudly served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War and retired from the Grandville Police Department after 34 years of service. He enjoyed racing, hockey, and going to coffee with his friends. Donner will be lovingly remembered by his wife, Gail; children, Julie (Jason) Roberts, Bill Richter, Tamra (Joe) Martinez, Amber Richter, Rachel Naber; grandchildren, Kaitlynn, Kylie, Liam, Zander, Esmae, and Dallen; and sister, Ann Richter. Private family services will be held.
