Janice R. Malina, age 75, passed away peacefully on Saturday evening, May 27, 2023. Janice served as a registered nurse for 44 years, and was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. She will be dearly missed by her husband of nearly 53 years, Nick Malina; her children, Dr. Amanda (Dr. Miguel) Alvelo - Malina, Nicholas (Rachel) Malina; her grandchildren, Marco Alvelo - Malina, Isadora Alvelo - Malina, Ava Malina, and Lukas Malina. The family extends their sincere thanks to the Memory Care Unit staff at Commonwealth Senior Living and the caretakers and staff at Gentiva Hospice for their loving care. In accordance with Janice's wishes, cremation has taken place and a private family gathering will be held in celebration of her life. Memorial contributions may be made to Gentiva Hospice.
