Nancy M. Welch (Walbridge), age 82, of Caledonia, went home to be with her Lord on Tuesday, May 16, 2023.  Nancy graduated from Blodgett School of Nursing and was a Registered Nurse for 30 + years. She enjoyed gardening and growing flowers, and was a longtime member of St. Mark Lutheran Church. Nancy also loved traveling to National Parks, Glen Arbor, MI and Sanibel Island, FL. She was preceded in death by her parents, Louis and Ruby Walbridge; and brother, Duane Walbridge.  Nancy will be lovingly remembered by her husband of 61 years, Brian; children, Barb (Tom) Budde, Laura (Jim) Welch-Vilker, Jeff (Michele) Welch; grandchildren, Rebecca (Andrew) Vriesema, Matthew Budde, Chase Welch, Andrew Welch; sister, Carol (Skip) Young; sister-in-law, Judy Walbridge; and many nieces and nephews.  The family will greet visitors on Monday, May 22, from 1 - 2 pm at Stroo Funeral Home, 1095 68th St. SE, where the funeral service will begin at 2 pm. Rev. Rodney Otto will officiate. Memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Association or to a charity of your choice.
