Peter M. Anda, age 89, of Grand Rapids, MI, went home to be with his Lord on Sunday, April 2, 2023. Peter served as a custodian for Grand Rapids Public Schools for many years. He loved to spoil his nieces and nephews, enjoyed going to demolition derbies, and watching John Wayne movies and the news. He was preceded in death by his parents, Olav and Laura; brother, David; brother-in-law, Frank Havelka; sister-in-law, Dorothy Anda; and his great niece, Allisyn Vander Veen. Peter is survived by his son, David Anda; brother, Thomas Anda; sister, Phyllis Havelka; many nieces, nephews and great-nieces and great-nephews. A private family graveside service will take place at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Lung Association. |

I will miss his “picking” on me and his “hidden “ caring ways. I will eat an extra piece of cake for you Sunday Pete. Know how much you enjoyed Sally’s cakes and fellowship time at church. Will miss our chats during fellowship time.
