Linda Joy Buit (VanSingel) went to be with her Lord on Thursday, January 13, 2022. Linda was a registered nurse and loyal friend to many. She loved gardening. She was a member of a bible study group for 40 plus years. Her family will remember her as a loving wife, mother, and amazing grandmother. Linda was preceded in death by her mother, Tena VanSingel, and brother, Paul VanSingel. She will be deeply missed by her husband of 52 years, Terry; children, Melody (Craig) Newhouse, Jeff (Kerrie) Buit; grandchildren, Brenna, Evan, Tanner, Zach (Rachel), Natalie (Logan), Ben; her father, Gordon VanSingel; brother and sisters, Doug (Swanee) VanSingel, Jan (Mark) Janke, Nancy (Bob) Slusser; and many nieces and nephews. The family will greet visitors on Friday, Jan. 21, from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 pm at Providence CRC. The funeral service will be held 11:00 AM Saturday, January 22, 2022 at Providence Christian Reformed, 7730 Eastern Ave., SE; with Rev. Bob Boersma, officiating. Interment will be in Winchester Cemetery. Contributions, in memory of Linda may be made to the Pregnancy Resource Center.
