Larry Glen Dean "MacDaddy" "LD", age 64, of Cutlerville, MI, passed away on Wednesday, November 24, 2021. He was preceded in death by his parents, Ray and Joan Dean, sister-in-law, Chari Dean. Larry is lovingly remembered by his sons, Harley (Kelsie) Dean, Clayton Dean; step-children, Emily Kroes, Ryan Kroes; brothers and sisters, Ronald Dean, Robert (Amy) Dean, Judy (Michael) Steinfort, Cindy (Dan Dulaney) Musky; many nieces and nephews. They say nice guys finish last, but I say Larry, just let others finish first. This is the type of guy Larry was, life was not a race to him. He enjoyed the little things, like a drink in the backyard, and jamming out to music with his puppy, Ruckus. He also enjoyed photography, bicycling, and was an avid Harley-Davidson rider. He was always there to extend a hand to anyone who needed it. On more than one occasion people have taken advantage of this kindness, but it never stopped him. Every new face was a new chance to make a difference in another’s life. He was truly everyone’s best friend. He had a common, easy going demeanor, loved life and lived it to the fullest. He raised two kids on a single father’s salary and, after developing myasthenia gravis making him unable to work, continued to raise his two kids the best he could. He never gave up, and he always kept a positive attitude about life. He was a wonderful father, brother, son and soon to be grandfather. Larry worked in the tool and die industry for many years. A memorial service will be held at a later date. Interment will be in Rosedale Memorial Park. Contributions may be made to Dégagé Ministries. |
