Lois M. Snoap, aged 92, of Wyoming, went to be with her Lord on Wednesday, March 31, 2021. Lois was a long time and avid employee and supporter of Godwin Heights Public Schools. Her greatest joy in life was being a mother, grandmother and great grandmother. Lois enjoyed cooking, baking, sewing, and spending time with her family. She was preceded in death by her husband of 70 years, Elmer; parents, Gerald and Elinor Hoek; brothers, Arthur, James, and Gerald Hoek. She will be lovingly remembered by her children, Martin Snoap (Julie Courtney), Dana (Nancy) Snoap, Linda Hawkins, Cherie (Ray) Snoap-Andrakowicz, Leslie Snoap; 14 grandchildren; 20 great grandchildren; brother, Roger (Angela Chavez) Hoek; sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, Diane Corcoran, David (Char) Snoap, Shirley Snoap, Bruce (Maxine) Snoap; and many nieces and nephews. Funeral Services will be held 11:00 am Tuesday, April 6, at Good News Baptist Church, 6830 Eastern Ave., SE; with Rev. Brian Cederquist officiating. Interment will be in Rosedale Memorial Park. The family will greet visitors on Monday, April 5, from 6:30 - 8:30 pm at Stroo Funeral Home, 1095 68th Street, SE and on Tuesday from 10 to 11 am at the church.
