Sharon L. Felix (McKissic), age 74, of Kentwood, went to be with her Lord on Saturday, February 20, 2021. Sharon retired from Cascade Engineering after 25 years of service. She loved her cats, enjoyed writing poetry, working in her yard, and growing flowers. She was preceded in death by her parents, Donald and Bernetta (Stout) McKissic; and sister, Karrell Russell.  Sharon was a devoted mother and grandmother who never missed an opportunity to be with her family. She will be lovingly remembered by her children, Lori (Tim) Sweeney, Christopher "Kip" DenHartigh, Mark DenHartigh; she was a loving grandma and great grandma to Jessica (Adam) Turk, Autumn (Michael) Cover, Timothy Sweeney Jr., Morgan DenHartigh, Matthew DenHartigh, McCoy DenHartigh; nine great grandchildren; sister and brother, Patricia Cook, Donald McKissic, Jr.; and many nieces and nephews. The family will greet visitors on Wednesday, February 24, from 6 - 8 pm at Stroo Funeral Home, 1095 68th St. SE. There will be a private service held on Thursday.  Interment will be in Pine Hill Cemetery.  Memorial contributions in memory of Sharon may be made to the American Cancer Society.

I had the joy of working with Sharon at Paul Inman Associates and then left to work for Cascade Engineering and encouraged her to follow. Very sweet lady her loved her kids and grandkids immensely.
