Selia Ambriz, age 88, of Kentwood, passed away peacefully in her home on Sunday, February 7, 2021.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Ralph, and a sister, Helen Sulin. A loving and devoted mother and grandmother, she will be dearly missed by her sons, Ralph and Renee Ambriz, Richard Ambriz; daughters, Mary Peralta, Margaret and John Mynda, Victoria and Mike Steinke; grandchildren, Russell (Bianca),  Roberto (Dominique), Matthew, Carlos (Flora), Selia (Amanda), Elena (Gene), Mary Rose, Gabriella, Arianna; great grandchildren, Isabella, Brayden, Addie, Mateo, Xavier, Liana, Kamille, Isla, Tavia, Felix, Oscar; brothers and sisters, Alfonso (Marilyn) Quiroz, Esther Owens, Ramon (Margarita) Quiroz, Mary (Joseph) Ciokon, and Guadalupe (Leonardo) Figueroa. As Selia requested, cremation has taken place. Due to current restrictions a memorial service will take place at a later time. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Wounded Warrior Project, 4899 Belfort Rd. Suite 300, Jacksonville, FL 32256.

Selia was a ray of sunshine at Bailey's Grove. A sweet positive woman who loved each day she was given. She will be missed. I am blessed to have been part of her life for the short time I was there. Peace and blessings to the family. Love to Ralph and his wife who did so much for that community.
