Gordon Leroy Freeman, age 89, of Kentwood, passed away on Tuesday, February 2, 2021.  Gordon proudly served in the U.S. Army.  He was a graduate of Caledonia High School and Michigan State University and retired from the State of Michigan as a bank examiner.  He was preceded in death by his parents, four brothers and two sisters. Surviving are his sister, Betty Kauwell; sister-in-law, Mary Lou Freeman; and several nieces, nephews, and friends. There will be no funeral service, and interment will be in Lakeside Cemetery, Caledonia, at a later date.  Contributions in memory of Gordon may be made to a charity of your choice.
