William J. "Bill" DeLeeuw, age 95, of Caledonia, passed away on Thursday, January 28, 2021. Bill served as a Master Sergeant in the U.S. Army during WWII and was a member of the Caledonia American Legion Post 305. A carpenter by trade, he retired in 1987 from Westinghouse.  He was preceded in death by his first wife, Della; daughter, Marie DeLeeuw; granddaughter, KhaylaSue DeLeeuw; and stepson, Tom Gehl. Bill will be lovingly remembered by his wife, Teresa "Teri"; his children, Diann Shuck, Larry DeLeeuw, Jack (Tami) DeLeeuw; his granddaughters, Khrystena Wyman, Kharleigh Smith, Nicole Gibson; five great grandchildren; sister, Lois Tag; sisters-in-law, Elsie DeLeeuw, Carol DeLeeuw; his stepchildren, Bob (Amy) Gehl, Ann (Todd) VandenBosch; step-grandchildren; step-great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held on Monday, February 1, from  10 - 11 am at Holy Family Catholic Church, 9669 Kraft Ave. SE, Caledonia, where the Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 11 am, with Fr. Phil Shangraw as celebrant. Interment will be in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens. Contributions in Bill's memory may be made to the Caledonia American Legion Post 305 or Holy Family Catholic Church.
