Roger Leighton Clark, age 89, born on June 19, 1931, went to be with his Lord and Savior on Monday, January 11, 2021. He was preceded in death in 2009 by his wife of 58 years, Nancy; his parents, Lloyd and Esther Clark; brother, Gordon; and twin great grandchildren, Megan and Brady.  Roger is survived by his sons, Steven (Sue Ellen), Douglas (Michelle); granddaughters, Stephanie, Betsy (Jay) Heasley, Terri (Warren) Prostko; great grandsons, Hudson, Landon, Logan; great granddaughter, Rory Sue; brother, Roland of Willoughby, Ohio; and three nephews. Roger served in the Coast Guard during the Korean Conflict. Upon his discharge he returned to the Grand Rapids area, graduated from Davenport University, and pursued a career in Accounting. He retired from Meijer Credit Union in 1993.  He enjoyed spending time with family, boating, golfing, travelling, cruises, and singing in church choirs. Due to the pandemic, private services were held at Grandville Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be given to Carlisle United Methodist Church, 1084 76th St. SW,  Byron Center, MI 49315, or Kindred Hospice, 625 Kenmoor Ave, #115, Grand Rapids, MI 49546.
